Relaxation
The factor that distinguishes a good athlete, musician, singer, etc. from a less good one seems to be their ability to keep their opposing muscles relaxed. To achieve this, you must first learn to relax all your muscles. You will learn this during the first two programmes. During the first three weeks, you will learn the difference between tension and relaxation by working systematically with the muscles of your body. During the fourth week, you will achieve the desired effect by mentally going through the muscles in question. The exercise reduces basic tension, which allows us to function better and perform better in various tasks, while saving energy.
Self-hypnosis
In the third programme, the self-hypnosis exercise begins by creating an inner room for yourself. You can decide what it looks like; it could be in nature or a room you have been in before. Don't think too much about it, just choose whatever comes to mind. The most important thing is that you learn to find your way there and enjoy being there. In the fourth programme on the CD, you then ”decorate” your inner room with a few aids that facilitate working with images and suggestions.
