A 6-week training programme
Prepared and narrated by Lars-Erik Uneståhl, PhD
Success factors
The training begins with the first two of the so-called ”SMAK” factors (Self-image, Goal image, Attitude, Emotion).
Phase 3 – Self-image training – 3 weeks
Programme 1. Self-confidence training – 1.5 weeks
Programme 2. Core strength training – 1.5 weeks
Self-image training
Self-image includes self-confidence, self-esteem and self-awareness, etc. Self-image affects our thoughts, reactions, performance and actions. A good self-image stimulates and motivates, while a poor one inhibits and blocks our own resources. It is each person's responsibility to first decide what their self-image should look like and then build it up through self-image training. An improved self-image affects both the outcome, interpretation and goals, and therefore starts a positive spiral that becomes self-perpetuating.
Phase 4 – Goal training – 3 weeks
Programme 3. Target programming – 1 week
Programme 4. Ideomotor training – 1 week
Programme 5. Target-based management – 1 week
Goal setting training
Bold and attractive goals programmed into the mental space provide energy, inspiration and commitment while guiding both conscious and unconscious processes. Before you start programme 3, ”Goal Programming,” you should select three situations in the future where you want to perform and function (or feel) better. In programme four, ”Ideomotor Training,” you will learn more about how images affect and control the body. You will learn to ”create an image” and then ”let it happen”. In the final training programme, ”Goal Image Control”, you will store images of the future. These images should remain in the back of your mind and control the automatic responses that are such a large part of every person's daily life and are also a prerequisite for good performance.
